Congrats first off, it's a lot of fun. But remember, it's not a race. Let guys go that are faster then you... Be patient with those who are not.You can get a universal battery tie down for $4.00 at autozone. All they are looking for is a secure battery in it's tray. I thought you had that taken care of when you were at my house. (?) Eitherway... simple/easy fix. Ps, you may need a hack saw to cut the threaded bar down. Second, you MUST bleed your brake fluid. They will usually check for clean brake fluid (sometimes they check the clutch too). So make that an absolute priority. Third, ensure all your lug nuts are intact (none missing), and that they are torqued. Fourth, Pull *everything* in the interior that is not tied down. Floor mats, radar detectors, fuzzy dice, ... everything. I've seen a few roll overs where the contents of the car were emptied out on the track. No one wants a radar detector in the eye. These are the four MAJOR things that inspection looks for, in my experience anyway.
